Estos días he recuperado a Lloyd Cole....hace muchos años aunque ya en los 90, la persona que me metió en este mundillo musical me grabó una cinta con (lo he descubierto esta semana) canciones de sus tres primeros discos, hasta ahora yo pensaba que era solo el Rattlesnakes, pero no ....por esa cinta pululan canciones tan maravillosas como Perfect Skin (Seems we climbed so high now were down so low), Are you ready to be a heartbroken (Are you ready to bleed? , ready to bleed?), Rattlesnakes (She says ooh, its so hard to love When love was your great disappointment ), o mi preferida Jennifer she said....esas canciones llenas de melancolía, de felicidades imposibles, de seres infelices in blue.

Pero la letra más bonita es la de Perfect Blue

Hacía muchos muchos años que no la escuchaba.... y he vuelto a redescubrir a este hombre tan guapo ahora convertido en un atractivo hombre con barba canosa... asi que nada... mañana iré a conocerle en persona, sobre un escenario. Posiblemente no toque ninguna de estas canciones pero aún así iré... es como un ajuste de cuentas con parte del pasado.
